Mediation Process

Mediation is a private, informal process in which a neutral third-party mediator assists the parties in reaching an agreement.  For more information about the mediation process, click here.

When it comes to civil disputes, other than litigation, all parties have the option of resorting to mediation in an effort to resolve their issues amicably.  Mediation is a private, informal process in which a neutral third-party mediator assists the parties in reaching an agreement among themselves.

PAM Center provides a comfortable, private setting for mediation sessions, conveniently located in many Southern California major cities.

The Mediator’s role is to assist the parties to negotiate diplomatically and reach a win-win solution through a face-to-face conversation.  If the parties refuse to communicate calmly, mediation may also take place in a caucus setting, where each disputant gets to speak to the mediator privately to express their thoughts.

As soon as an agreement has been reached, the mediator will reduce the terms of the agreement to a summary.  Upon request, PAM Center will provide legal writing service to draft a formal settlement agreement for both the parties’ and judge’s signatures, which may be legal binding and enforceable under the law.
